Skarv Technologies was founded by four PhDs from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Applied Underwater Robotics Laboratory. Having worked across a vast range of underwater applications, the group identified the need for more efficient data collection tools capable of providing refined information directly in real time, without any form of post-processing. Achieving this required a vertically integrated hardware and software platform unlike anything available in the current market. Today, the technology has grown into a proprietary software and hardware toolstack that has been applied across numerous robotic platforms and underwater data collection applications to deliver this capability.
