Signed contract with Salmar Aker Ocean

Following the successful integration of the NotVakt net inspection system, Skarv Technologies is pleased to announce the signing of a 4-year contract with Salmar Aker Ocean. This agreement entails the deployment of continuous net inspection, hole detection, and back-up system for the Ocean Farm 1 offshore fish farm.

The NotVakt system represents a substantial advancement in automatic net inspection technology. The NotVakt system can fast and precisely identify net damage or fatigue, dramatically mitigating risks of escape events. The inspection is conducted during net cleaning and is mounted on Aqua Robotics automated washing system. The collaboration with Aqua Robotics further strengthens the technological usefulness of the system, ensuring 24 hrs. monitoring and cleaning.

Salmar Aker Ocean, which is taking a leading role in exposed aquaculture, will benefit from the automated inspection system's ability to detect and address potential early stage net damage proactively. This will not only enhance the efficiency of their operations but also contribute to the overall safety of operations in more exposed locations where sea state conditions are more extreme.
